Official confirmation: The GSE might be making a comeback.

Speculations arise about a potential new installment in the Green Street movie series, triggered by an actor sharing a script on their social media.

In the 2005 original film, Elijah Wood portrayed an American journalism student entangled in the tumultuous realm of West Ham United's fictional Green Street Elite firm.
The narrative unfolds with his character sparking considerable tension with Pete (depicted by Charlie Hunnam), the group's leader, and Bovver (portrayed by Leo Gregory),
Pete's right-hand man, as the plot delves into the intense rivalry between West Ham and Millwall.

Given the perennial success of the film, fans are understandably ecstatic about the potential for a sequel.

Creating a buzz on Instagram, Leo has fueled speculation by sharing a photo that seems to be a script. While the caption remains blank, he tagged film producer Dougie Brimson,
the writer of the original movie, and the clothing brand Weekend Offender, adding an extra layer of intrigue to the post.

Leo, previously collaborating with Weekend Offender due to his role as Bovver, initiated partnerships such as a Bovver-themed t-shirt featuring the iconic pub scene from Green Street.
Following its triumph, their collaboration expanded in 2020 with the launch of Leo's inaugural signature capsule collection with the brand.

Dougie echoed the sentiment by sharing the identical image with the caption, "Stay tuned…"

The news has undoubtedly stirred up excitement among fans, triggering lively discussions in the comments section about the potential for a new movie.

"Buzzing for this!👌🏼 I’ve always been curious why Chelsea was never in Green Street 1?"

"now we talking 2024 to be best year"

"Class mate childhood favourite this one! Would love to get involved 👀"

Meanwhile, others were keen to find out when it would be released, but it seems like the project they're engaged in is at a very early stage.
